SUDEP eToolkit

The eToolkit is a set of documents designed to improve understanding of SUDEP and to facilitate its discussion among families, healthcare providers, death investigation professionals and researchers.

Created, primarily, as an electronic resource, to allow for immediate, wide-spread, cost effective distribution, we encourage its download for forward or printout and sharing in your home, office, hospital, epilepsy centre, school, library etc.  Please join the campaign and distribute the link or downloads to as many places as you can!  If you would like to add your organization's logo/details to these brochures, please contact us.

Developed with the help of campaign partners, including SUDEP experts, families, researchers and advisers, this eToolkit is a continuous work in progress that will evolve as more tools are created and shared by collaborators, and as new information about SUDEP is revealed.  For this reason, and to ensure you have the most recent information available, we ask that you link to the eToolkit rather than download it to your site.

The first components of the eToolkit include a series of brochures that explain SUDEP and provide information to help address the questions and concerns specific to target audiences.  These include parents of children, people with epilepsy, young adults, people bereaved by epilepsy and healthcare providers and will shortly also include members of the death investigation team.

Five brochures are now available for download, with all available in Spanish and four in French.  If you would like to be notified of updates by email, please subscribe to the campaign newsletter.
